18 months
Can I get a Hallelujah! 18 months and you are in nursery FINALLY!! I swear they should have a pre-nursery class at church. Those few months before are brutal when you have an active little girl. Let's talk about what else you are doing:
1. You are growing and growing and growing! I don't have your stats but you are our biggest one yet!
2. We have been able to put the piggy tails in your hair and you look C-U-T-E! So much so I want to eat you to pieces.
3. You are getting very interested in books lately, which I love when my kiddos get to this point. You will look at them on your own, but most the time you pick them out and pull on my leg to come and sit down and read it to you.
4. You are recognizing songs and patterns. You can't say the actual words/letters yet, but your favorite is "ABC" to which you will grunt in the right intonations and bounce back and forth to the beat. We love it, and this song is getting sung much more around our house now.
5. You and Lexie are starting to play really well. In the mornings after Mason leaves for school you will follow her around playing the "Mom and Dad" game, holding your baby.
6. Your vocabulary is growing! You say about 1.5 dozen words to include: mama, dadda (or daddy), baba, gink, gu (gus), baby, what, thank you, cracker, sucker, ya, hi, bye, look, 1,2,3, and of course NO. Still your favorite.

Just Put It in A Bag
Everyday you are becoming a little more independent and wanting to be grown-up. Lately, you will only accept your snacks without throwing a fit if it is given to you in the original packaging or if I put it in a baggie. Needless to say we are going through those baggies much quicker at our house!
