Over the River and Thru the Woods...

This is the route we took to get to Maga's house this weekend. It sounded like a good idea and was pretty fun for the first 2 hours...but it was downhill after that. Turns out that you are not a fan of windy roads and long trips in the van. But hey, we got to see beautful WYOMING!!

You've Had A Birthday!

My sweet little baby is ONE now! Where has this year gone, always seems to go by so fast and you have made this such a great year and have been such a precious little baby. Let's begin with your one year stats that I know: *You are now officially m biggest kiddo. You are about 65% in weight and 75%height. This is not characteristic of our family but I love that you have a little more chubby on you! *You started walking at the end of your ninth month and now there is no stopping you. Walking all over and climbing up, on and over everything.
*You are still a daddy's girl. You wait for him to come home and waddle over to the door saying "dada" or "daddy" followed by a squeal and giggles. Then during dinner you just sit and stare at him smiling, making sure he acknowledges that you are there. You have him wrapped around your finger!
*You have two teeth on bottom and are finally cutting your two teeth on top. Needless to say you are slobbering mess lately! Your first tooth came in at 10.5 months, the nest st 11.5 months and now at 12 months almost 4. *Your words are almost identical to the ones your brother and sister said first. Mama, dada, daddy, hi, gu (gus) and a new one I have heard is no.
*You love playing dolls with Lexie and love being pushed in her play stroller. You two are sure to be best friends. *You Otter Pops, you run to the freezer whenever it is opened grunting and reaching for one. You are not a picky eater by any means though. So far you eat everything you are fed, minus peas. *If I had one complaint it is your love to hang out in the bathroom. If that door is ever left open you are in there sucking on toothbrushes and trying to eat the toothpaste(thank goodness this has been unsuccessful for the most part). For your birthday we just did a family party here at home with the cake smash. You were a little unsure what to do when it was set in front of you, but once I gave a little push you pretty much licked all the frosting off. I think is made you a little sick though-too much sugar! Your grammy and papa came up the week before and got you a little doll and toy vacuum. Your nanny got you a toy that makes music and mom and dad got you clothes and a carseat. Happy Birthday my big ONE year old girl! We look forward to all of the adventures ahead with you!
